Attorney Stephen Temko represents clients in appellate litigation of family law cases in the California Courts of Appeal and the California Supreme Court. He works with both individual family law clients and with California family law attorneys, representing clients in San Diego and across the state.
Attorney Temko has been practicing family law since 1975, first in trial practice and then in family law research and appellate practice. He is certified by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization as a Family Law Specialist (since 1990), and as an Appellate Law Specialist (since 1996). He is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

Family Law Trial Consulting
Attorney Temko consults regularly with family law trial attorneys. He often works with trial counsel on complex cases or high asset cases. He conducts legal research, prepares and defends various trial court motions, prepares Points and Authorities, assists with discovery, prepares requests for statements of decision and develops legal theories and strategies to succeed in the trial court or to preseve issues for appeal. After decision, he consults on post trial motions, preparation of the statements of decision and objections to statements of decisions. After entry of judgment he assists or prepares motions to set aside judgments or defends against set aside motions.
